Monday 6th to wednesday 8th July, 2015 has been declared a no trading, no hawking and no business day in Igbogbo town, a major community of Ikorodu division in Lagos state, as part of traditional passage rites for the late Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Oba Johnson Olatunji Fatola (JP) who joined his ancestors last week.
T & C’s Ikorodu Marketplace correspondence visit to the community Monday morning to access compliance to the traditional directive reports that, most businesses, shops and markets located in the town were under lock and key. The town itself wears a solemn look, as residents mourn their departed traditional ruler.
