The event, which was part of Hon. Nosimot Akinsola's second award of excellence for best WASSC students in Ikorodu constituency II, was held recently. It featured the best overall student with the slot going to Kabure Ayomide of Lagos state Model college and second and third overall best going to Miss Aboyeji Monsurat and Apona perpetua of Elepe High school and Senior Service Model College, Igbogbo respectively.
Alhaji Amusa, who had made far reaching contributions in education, also provided the best overall students with free GCE forms. Apart from providing qualitative education in his schools, Homat has also added other areas of education to his concept by introducing computer, pivotal and adult education, among others.

Among the things donated by Homat to schools included giant standing fans for the overall best school in Ikorodu constituency, Lagos state Model College, Igbokuta and distributed thousands of exercise books and jotters, among other gift items to students and guests at the event.
