The efforts of the local vigilante group seem to be intensifying as the spate of criminal activities in Ikorodu is reducing. The man you are seeing in this photograph, whose body had been battered and dismembered, might have been dealt with by the security outfit.
Though, none of them accepted involvement in this killing, many believe that this alleged armed robber must have been lynched by an aggrieved victim.
Residents of Ojubode woke up on November 26 to see this dismembered body lying on the road. When our reporter got there, nobody volunteered information on the body but one of them told Ikorodu News that the suspect was apprehended along Oriwu road, Ikorodu, near Italewa while trying to burgle some shops.
It was reported that he broke into the shop and stole a laptop and some valuable items. Some people caught him and dealt with him immediately to serve as a deterrent to others.
